SATURDAY THOUGHT…

Sometimes a house doesn’t just need a cleaning.

It needs a SERIOUS RESET.

Maybe life got busy.

Maybe the kids got older and the house got harder to keep up with.

Maybe you’ve been working nonstop.

Maybe you’ve been caring for everyone else.

Maybe you’ve been dealing with a move, a renovation, a new baby, a loss, an illness, or just… life.

SAFETY FIRST — FOR OUR TEAM AND YOUR FAMILY 🚨

We talk a LOT about cleaning around here, but there’s something even more important:

Keeping everyone safe.

We had a situation years ago that really reminded us why this matters.

A customer had used disposable needles in their household garbage. We were told they were “only” B12 injections, but a needle is still a needle — and there’s no way for the person taking out the trash to know what it was used for.

Two of our girls were taking the garbage out and got stuck by needles sticking out of the bag. It was an incredibly unsafe situation that could have been avoided.

So, please, when you have someone cleaning in your home, take a minute to think about the things that could be a safety hazard for someone else.

💉 Needles, syringes & lancets → use an appropriate sharps container.
🧪 Chemicals or medications → let us know about anything unusual.
🩸 Blood or other bodily fluids → please tell us before we begin.
🪟 Broken glass → let us know where it is.
🐕 Pets that may be nervous or protective → please let us know.
🪜 Unstable furniture or anything that requires climbing → tell us rather than having us discover it ourselves.
🔌 Loose or damaged cords → please point them out.

If you’re not sure whether something is a safety concern, just tell us.

We aren’t going to judge you. We aren’t going to lecture you. We just want our girls to be able to do their job and go home safely at the end of the day.

After 30 years of cleaning homes, we’ve seen a LOT.

And one thing we’ve learned is that communication matters.

THURSDAY CLEANING TRUTH: MOVING DAY EDITION!

If you’re moving… please don’t leave the house dirty.

And before you say, “But I had it cleaned regularly!” — we hear you!

A move-out cleaning is a whole different animal. 😂

Why?

Because once the furniture is gone, we can finally see what has been hiding underneath, behind and around it.

Years of dust and dirt buildup.

The spots you couldn’t reach with furniture in place.

The baseboards.

The corners.

The floors underneath the beds, couches and dressers.

Then there’s the inside AND outside of the cabinets.

The inside of the oven.

The inside of the refrigerator.

The laundry room where the washer and dryer have been sitting.

All those little places that don’t necessarily get cleaned during a regular maintenance cleaning suddenly need attention.

And even if you’ve had your home professionally cleaned for years, moving out means we’re cleaning areas we normally aren’t able to get to.

It’s a LOT.

It’s a dirty job…

but somebody’s gotta do it. 🤭
