I am officially on Do Not Disturb today. 🤍 The kids and I are enjoying a much-needed slow Sunday by the pool, soaking up the sunshine, relaxing, and simply enjoying time together.

Sometimes you just need a day to unplug, slow down, and be present with the people who matter most. 🫶🏻

My books have officially been closed since May, and I am SO excited to announce that I will be temporarily opening them beginning August 17th! 🏡🧹✨

After taking some time to restructure my schedule and make sure I could continue providing the level of service my clients know and trust, I am ready to welcome a limited number of new clients to Home Sweet Home Services LLC! ❤️

I am currently accepting:
🧼 Bi-weekly cleaning clients
🏡 Monthly cleaning clients
✨ Deep cleans & specialty cleans as availability allows

At this time, I am not accepting any additional Airbnb properties, as my Airbnb/property management schedule is currently at maximum capacity.

I continue to work as a solo cleaner, which allows me to personally care for each home and provide the same level of consistency, reliability, attention to detail, and accountability at every visit. Friday mornings are for slow moments, fresh air, and farmers market hauls. 🌿🍅🌻

There’s something so special about wandering through the market with my kids, filling our bags with fresh produce, homemade goodies, and beautiful flowers while supporting the hardworking local farmers and small businesses in our community.

These simple mornings have become some of my favorite memories—good conversations, little hands helping pick out fruits and vegetables, and the reminder that the best moments in life are often the simplest ones.

One thing I've learned as a business owner is this: the people who spend their time comparing themselves to others often miss the opportunity to grow themselves.
True success isn't found in watching someone else's every move. It isn't found in creating fake profiles, making fake inquiries to gather information, spreading gossip, or tearing another business down. Those things don't build a legacy—they waste valuable time and energy that could be spent improving your own business.

Real success looks different.
It's cheering for another business when they have a great month.
It's referring work when your schedule is full.
It's collaborating with people who have strengths that complement your own.
It's learning from others, asking questions, sharing knowledge, and building a community where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

Over the last few months, many people have asked where I've been. The truth is... I haven't disappeared. I've been busier than ever.

I've expanded.
I've grown.
I've collaborated.
I've stepped into new areas of business.
I've invested in learning, relationships, and opportunities that align with my vision.

At one of my client's homes today, I spotted the cutest little toad perched on the pool skimmer, soaking up the summer sunshine like he owned the place. 🐸☀️

Welcome, August. 🍃

This summer brought a lot of change.
As a business owner, I made some difficult decisions. I chose to step back, return to being a solo cleaner, and focus on what mattered most—my family. That meant making sacrifices, including referring some of my wonderful clients to other trusted cleaning companies because I knew I couldn't provide the level of service they deserved while also being the mom and wife I wanted to be.

Looking back, I can honestly say it was the right decision.

God had a different plan. While I stepped back in one area, He opened doors in others. My property management business has continued to grow, my client base has expanded, and I've had the privilege of working alongside some of the best cleaners in Sullivan County. More importantly, those professional relationships have turned into genuine friendships, and I couldn't be more grateful.

The greatest blessing, though, wasn't found in business. It was found in the memories. My children got a summer with their mom—a summer filled with laughter, adventures, travel, and simply enjoying being together. Those moments are priceless, and I wouldn't trade them for anything.

As I welcome August, I'm excited for what's ahead:
✨ Continuing my journey toward earning my real estate license.
✨ Traveling to North Carolina to continue building my sister company.
✨ Growing our property management services.
✨ Expanding into new areas throughout the Hudson Valley.
✨ Continuing to build meaningful partnerships with incredible local businesses.

One thing this season has reminded me is that success isn't about competing—it's about collaborating. There is enough room for all of us to succeed. Watching other businesses grow while growing alongside them is one of the most fulfilling parts of entrepreneurship.
