There was a lady I met at a center when she was but 97-98 of age.
She ended up in a home I often visited.
I’d occasionally stop by her room to tell her hello.
She turned 99 a few months back, last week I went by and asked her if she wanted a hug and gave her one.
Yesterday I stopped by and told her I wanted her to know she was loved, she told me she loved me too….
She passed on today.
Old or young, people need to know someone cares even when they have no apparent reason to.
I can only hope it meant something to her, because I only know it meant something to me to take the moments I wish I had made more of to see her smile and thank me each time I stopped by💜

May I too have great gratitude for the ones that say hello and may we all have someone to stop by💜💜
