MOR is Hiring a Laborer for (Jet/Vac).
A Laborer (Jet/Vac) position involves working with a jet/vacuum truck to clean and maintain sewer systems, storm drains, and other underground infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
• Assisting with operation the jet/vac truck: This includes helping set up and operate the high-pressure water jetting system to break up debris and the vacuum system to remove it from pipes, manholes, lift stations, and storm drains.
• Cleaning and inspecting systems: This includes cleaning sewer lines, storm drains, manholes, and other structures. You may also assist with CCTV inspection of pipes to identify issues.
• Physical Labor: The job requires physical work, including lifting (50+ lbs.), carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching, and operating equipment.
• Assisting the crew: Providing assistance to the crew on various tasks related to jet/vac operations.
• Site Setup and Safety: Locating manholes, setting up traffic control, and ensuring all safety procedures are followed, including wearing proper PPE.
• Equipment Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance checks on equipment and reporting any mechanical issues.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate logs and records of work completed.
• Customer Interaction: Providing excellent customer service and communicating with site managers or customers.
• Flexibility and adaptability: Being prepared for outdoor work in varying weather conditions and potentially responding to emergency calls.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is essential.
• Jet/Vac Experience: While not always required, previous experience with jet/vac or vacuum trucks is preferred.
• Physical Fitness: The job is physically demanding, so good physical condition is necessary.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR & FOREPERSON POSITION
MOR Construction Services, Inc is a locally owned and operated contractor. We are looking to add an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator & Foreperson to our growing team of highly motivated individuals.
Candidates should have a familiarity with OSHA regulations and the ability to recognize hazards and unsafe conditions. Must be reliable, hardworking and have reliable transportation. Must be able to run the job from the seat, ability to supervise, and be willing to get hands dirty. Must have extensive experience with underground utilities, sanitary, storm, & sewer main line installation and repair, and dirt.
** BILINGUAL IS A PLUS!.
This non-exempt position operates one or more types of heavy construction equipment such as: excavators, articulated trucks, backhoes, skid steers, loaders, rollers, and dozers to perform various tasks. Responsible for safe operation of machines, maintenance, and upkeep of equipment.
• Discusses plans for the day's work with field manager, reviews work plans and determines best method of getting assigned work done safely, accurately, and on time.
• Performs equipment maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing, and oiling machines.
• Operates equipment with priority of making the job safe for all persons working around the equipment.
• Ensures that other workers stay clear of machine while working in tight places and ensures that there is teamwork between self and other operators working at the project site.

FLEET MECHANIC POSITION
MOR Construction Services, Inc is a locally owned and operated contractor. We are currently looking to add an EXPERIENCED Fleet Mechanic to our growing team of highly motivated individuals.
Candidate must have experience working on trucks and engines (gas and diesel), machinery (skid steer, backhoe, etc.), small engine (mowers, w**d whackers, etc.) and must have your own tools.
Job Description:
The job will include but is not limited to the following:
Fleet Management:
-DOT compliance
-Ordering parts, and keeping inventory
-Choosing and comparing vendors for quality and cost analysis
-Reporting on fleet statistics such as cost per mile, and fleet mileage
-Adjusting service intervals with outside vendors to maximize vehicle life
-Scheduling repairs with outside vendors and communicating with them to minimize downtime
-Some research and miscellaneous tasks
Mechanic:
-General repairs, diagnosis, and vehicle maintenance
-Oil changes, brakes, tire mounting and balancing, etc.
-Prepping new vehicles
-Communication with drivers to help determine issues with the fleet
-Communication with supervisor regarding repair issues
-Transports vehicles to outside repair shops for work not completed in-house
-Detailing, steam cleaning, and waxing the fleet
-Maintaining equipment and garage
Job Requirements:
-Must be extremely well organized and have excellent follow-through.
-Knowledge of basic vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance
-Must Possess a Valid Driver’s License (CDL A PLUS!)
-Must be reliable and work an assigned regular schedule including overtime when necessary
-Excellent problem-solving skills
-Skilled in the use of computers and diagnostic tools
-Excellent time management
-Works well with others, at all levels of the company, to achieve team goals.
-Maintain positive relationships through courteous and respectful action
-General Education -- High School Diploma, GED, or the equivalent
-*Inspection / Emissions/ Specialty certifications a Plus*
