The number of coyote calls we've received here at ACP Wiildlife Control Services in the past few days is unbelievable. I went down to look on a complaint where coyotes was attacking dogs and possibly being aggressive to people. Whe the coyote saw us it comes. I wanted to see if it was going to be aggressive towards people or just the dogs so I walked directly towards it. It allowed me to get to about 30 yards and started trotting off watching me the whole time. So I just continued following it at a very aggressive pace.
What I suspected was she was gonna leave me right back to her pups and she did. Which was probably waiting for her to bring something back to eat. I kept pressure on. She gathered her pupp's and she led me to her safety zone. When coyotes are born near people they adapt to people and how people behave i'd behaved differently than what she was used to. When they adapt to people that's when problems start to arise.
ACP wildlife control services has been performing predator control for a long time I started doing predator work in 1979 as a service. We know when the predator is causing a problem and needs to be dealt with.
And we know when to tell the customer leave it alone it will be gone in a few days.

The little groundhogs are moving around a lot now.

It is that time of year again. The beaver are moving around. the young 2 year olds are setting up new homes and the old beavers are fixing the up the old areas. Many time the problem can be solved by installing a flow device. Many call them beaver deceivers.

But flow device is what they do. They keep the water at a depth the beaver are happy with and the depth that does not cause the property problems.

When possiable the beavers should be removed. This keeps populations in check and a healthy population. but States Like NJ it is hard to remove beavers because of outdated and old regulations that were put in place to increase the populations but no safe guard to mantain the control the populations when they grow and get out of control.

ACP Wildlife Control Services undestands the flow device. What it will do and where it will work. Gound hog jobs are in full swing now. In about 3 to 4 weeks we may start to see young which wILL turn your 1 into 6.

Folks are out in their yards more and the red foxes are being seen quite a bit. And what people are seeing is Fox that has bad cases of Mange living under their sheds or the porch..
They have the Fox caught in a cage trap. If it can be caught, and then have it treated, thinking they've done a good deed.

Here's reality, mange is a mite. And even though the treatment kills the mite and stops the mange in the Fox, the treatment only last 2 to 4 weeks so when the Fox is turned back loose in the home territory that it was caught from. The area still has the mange.
The Fox can get the mange again with in a couple weeks as soon as new mites get on the fox again.
