2025 1st annual “Veterans Cruise & Float”
For the 106th Veterans Day Parade in Leavenworth Kansas.
We have been lucky enough to support and work with
“The Battle Within” for 2025 and will continue for all the years to come.
This year we were able to step away from work a little and take some time to work on this special day. To show our appreciation we designed a float, got a group of beautiful cars from the “Crossroads Miata Club of Greater Kansas City” and pulled The “Battle Within” with a group of 13 brave men and women & their service dogs through a parade of 15,000 people, and they even stepped out of their comfort zone to talk on KCTV5. With everything they have been through and still go through, they are beautiful souls who deserve to be appreciated and thanked, not just on Veterans Day but every day.
Thank you for allowing “Small Details Garage” to be apart of this special day. We look forward to hosting this event every year.
These brave men and women take on shadows and demons every day that the rest of the world can’t see.
“The Battle Within” Mission is to break down barriers and provide all Heroes the mental and behavioral health support they need.
They provide what is called the
“Revenant Journey”. Their 5 day Revenant Journey program is a highly specialized group process that targets factors know to increase suffering and to limit the effectiveness of other psychotherapeutic treatments among veterans and first responders. By addressing these factors, which include emotional restrictiveness, emotional regulation skills, and openness to therapy, they set the stage for long term recovery.
“Frontline Therapy Network” is a psychotherapy referral network that connects veterans, first responders, and frontline medical professionals to therapist who are suited to provide treatments specific to their needs. They fund between 6-10 sessions for most clients, while connecting them with a provider who accepts their insurance. Their network has involved over 100 therapist and served clients in 28 states, plus Puerto Rico.
“Dogs 4 Valor” helps veterans and first responders with a PTSD or TBI diagnosis to train their own service dogs, helping them achieve greater health and independence when their symptoms have become especially challenging or limiting. This program was acquired by TBW in 2024.
