💦 Beautiful design looks good from every angle.

When designing a custom swimming pool, we think beyond the overall layout. We consider how the water features, tile selections, and surrounding spaces will look and feel from the places you'll enjoy them most.

Because the little details make a big difference in the finished backyard.

Ready to design yours? Desert Soul Pools offers complimentary custom pool designs throughout the Phoenix East Valley.

🔥 BACKYARD HOT TAKE: Symmetry isn’t boring.

There’s something about a backyard where every feature feels balanced and intentional. The matching lines, centered focal points, and repeating details give this design a seriously polished look.

But we want to know what YOU think…

🔥 AGREE — symmetry all day
👀 DISAGREE — give me something more unexpected

POOL TIP TUESDAY 💦

Before we design your pool, there's an important question to answer:

How are we getting into the backyard? 👀

Side-yard width, gates, utilities and existing structures can all affect the construction process—and sometimes we're working with some VERY tight access. 😂

That's why accurate measurements and a thorough look at your property are such an important part of the process. A beautiful backyard starts with smart planning long before excavation begins.

Your backyard shouldn’t be designed from a catalog.

At the Desert Soul Pools Design Center in Gilbert, the design experience becomes hands-on.

See your backyard come to life through a custom 3D design. Compare tile, stone, decking and finishes side by side. See the colors in person. Feel the textures. And work with your designer to make sure everything comes together as one cohesive backyard.

Because building a custom pool is a big decision—and we believe choosing the details should be part of the experience.

Design it. See it. Feel it.

That’s The Desert Soul Difference. 🖤💛

MONDAY INSPIRATION 🤍

Someday, the floaties disappear.

The pool toys get put away for the last time.

And “Can we swim?” isn't the question you hear every afternoon anymore.

But all those summers spent together? Those have a way of sticking around.

They won’t remember every summer day. But they’ll remember where they spent them.

Build the pool. Make the memories. 💦

Beautiful by design. Made for living. 💦

A custom pool is just the beginning of what a backyard can become.

From the spa and water features to the landscaping and outdoor spaces surrounding them, every detail contributes to the way you experience your home.

At Desert Soul Pools, we believe the most beautiful backyards are the ones that are truly lived in.

Let's create a space designed around the way YOU want to enjoy life outdoors.

🌿 WOULD YOU ADD THIS?

This week's backyard debate: ARTIFICIAL TURF!

There's something about a beautiful green lawn next to a sparkling blue pool that makes a backyard feel like a private resort.

Artificial turf offers that lush appearance without the mowing and watering requirements of traditional grass.

But we know Arizona homeowners have different opinions when it comes to landscaping!

🌿 YES — I love the green!
👋 PASS — Desert landscaping for me!

Which would you choose for YOUR backyard? Tell us below! 👇

DESIGN DETAIL THURSDAY 🌵 | Designing With Your Surroundings

Sometimes the most beautiful part of a backyard isn't something you have to build.

It's what's already there.

When designing a custom swimming pool, we consider more than just the available space. The surrounding landscape, natural views, and overall environment can all influence how a backyard comes together.

This Desert Soul project is a beautiful example of allowing the Arizona mountains to become part of the design.

The pool, water features, and natural-toned decking complement the surrounding desert without taking attention away from the view.

Great design doesn't compete with the view. It makes the most of it.

🌵 PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | THE PRESERVE AT SAN TAN • SAN TAN VALLEY

A backyard should be more than a place to swim. It should be a place to live.

This Desert Soul Pools project brings together a custom swimming pool, integrated spa, Baja shelf, cascading water features, beautiful stone decking, landscaping, and a solid-roof pergola to create one cohesive outdoor living space.

Whether you're cooling off in the pool, relaxing in the spa, or enjoying the shade beneath the pergola, this backyard was designed with comfort and everyday enjoyment in mind.

That's what we mean when we say designed for more than swimming. 💦
