Today we are required to acknowledge the birthday of Marc De Rosa, a long-tenured member of our team and, technically speaking, one of the owners.

As the younger brother of the actual boss and a permanent fixture of the family business, Marc has spent many years contributing in ways that are sometimes strategic, sometimes spontaneous, and always very on-brand for a family-run operation. His presence consistently keeps things interesting and ensures that no meeting is ever entirely predictable.

We appreciate his continued involvement, his deep familiarity with how things “used to be done,” and his unwavering confidence in his own ideas. The company would not be what it is today without him, and it’s unclear whether that’s a positive or simply a fact.

Please join us in wishing Marc a happy birthday as we collectively agree to move forward into another year of working together.

Our patriarch has passed on. We will continue to carry the torch in memory of our dad and his legacy. There will be services. Let me know if anyone is interested.

People ask why we are called Advance Paper. Our biggest chunk of business is toilet paper, hand towels and hand soap for restrooms. We have pallets of paper in our warehouse as well as maintenance supplies, chemicals, and cleaning equipment. Isn't it funny that anyone can offer cleaning products for sale , but not many can offer procedures for those products? Next time you are needing a project done that requires products, work with professionals in that industry. We speak from experience. Advance Paper and Maintenance Supply is celebrating 65 years in business this year. Companies don't last that long without having done and continuing to do things correctly. There's no substitute for experience.
