The city of Georgetown is raising the dump charge to six times the old fee. People will have to pay more to have a tank pumped than some can afford.

There will be a Public Hearing this Thursday Jan 21st at 5:30pm at City Hall to discuss these changes. They mail notification letters today Jan 19th.

Please share this message and show up to support your local haulers. There is no need to charge these high rates. Treatment costs have not increased and these changes will effect us all.
