I certainly did not plan on owning a Heaven's Best carpet cleaning franchise, but I am now thrilled to be running my own company. I spent a total of 9 years in the US Army (both active duty
and reserve) right out of high school. While I was in the reserves I started working on my college education and became a bartender for the next 7 years while getting my degree. I am originally from Detroit, Michigan and have lived in Maryland, Texas, Ohio and Tennessee. In 1994, with less than a $1000 dollars to my name and all my belongings in the back of an Isuzu Amigo I landed in Colorado. In 1998 I met my wife Lori, then finally finished my degree in 2004 (I hold a BS in Management and Human Relations from Trevecca Nazarene University) and finally got a "real job" in Corporate America. Over the next 13 years I worked for DirecTV, Verizon Wireless and Qwest in various sales management roles. The "problem" began for me in December of 2009 when I experienced my first downsizing. With a 4 month pregnant wife I was very lucky to land another job within 5 weeks. To quote Albert Einstein, "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." I was faced with the decision to once again go to work in Corporate America and expect a different result. Downsizing #2 turned out to be a blessing in disguise and it gave me the courage to take control of my life and purchase a Heaven's Best Carpet Cleaning franchise. I am extremely excited to begin this next chapter in my life and look forward to providing exceptional service to you. I live with my wife Lori, 2 year old son Sean, a dog and a cat in Parker, Colorado.
