These are the items that were put in Saturday’s drop site Recycling in The City of Winthrop! This is disgusting and absolutely unacceptable. This is the reason some city’s have had to end drop sites like this. We are setting up cameras at all drop sites. Please be more respectful so that the Cities can continue these sites.

This is a reminder to not throw your lithium ion batteries in your garage. They are highly flammable. At this time we do not have any where to dispose of them. Hopefully in the future. Until then bring them to Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe’s and Batteries Plus. Thank you.

Happy Thanksgiving! The City of Winthrop's garbage collection, normally scheduled for Thursday, November 27th, will be on Friday, November 28th, due to the holiday.
