Smoky Mountain Clean and Cut is Hiring!

We’re looking for a Part-Time Laundry Attendant.

📅 Schedule: Thursdays & Fridays
💲 Pay: $14/hour
Duties include sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens, organizing supplies, and operating washers and dryers.

⚠️ This is a physically demanding job that requires lifting up to 40 lbs and working independently.

Experience in commercial laundry is a plus, but not required — we will train the right person.

A Laundry Attendant is responsible for processing laundry. This includes but is not limited to sorting, washing, drying, folding, organizing linens, and preparing linens and supplies to be distributed.

Essential Functions:

-Receiving linen bins and keep counts.
-Sorts all linens and treats stains.
-Loads all laundry into washer
-Takes wet, clean items and dries.
-Sorts and folds by hand clean dried items.
-Operation of washers, dryers
-Placing and organizing linens
-Maintains inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicates needs to Supervisor.
-Maintains all laundry equipment and informs Supervisor of any maintenance needs.
-Provides a safe and clean environment at all items
-Adheres strictly to rules regarding safety.
-Performs other duties which may be assigned by supervisor.

This position is an overnight position. Applicant most be comfortable working alone and be self motivated.

This a physically demanding job that requires you to stoop, bend, stretch, twist, and reach. Regularly lift 35 lbs and up to 50lbs.

No Experience Necessary we will train the candidate.
