Do your clean towels feel less absorbent than they used to?

Fabric softener and dryer sheets can leave a coating on towel fibers that makes them feel soft but ultimately less effective at actually drying you.

Try skipping the softener when washing towels and avoid overloading the machine so they can rinse thoroughly. Your towels should come out fluffier and fresher!

Bring the overflowing baskets to Legendary Laundry’s Wash & Fold team! We’ll wash, dry and neatly fold everything so you can start the weekend without spending Friday night sorting everyone’s underwear.

Tired of socks disappearing somewhere between the hamper and the dryer?

Keep a mesh laundry bag near each hamper and toss dirty socks directly into it. Zip the bag before washing, then move the whole thing into the dryer.

The socks still get clean, but they stay together and your dryer loses its opportunity to collect another tiny fabric sacrifice. 🧦

This trick also works wonderfully for baby socks, reusable makeup pads and other small items.

Laundry Tip: Never put a stained item in the dryer until the stain is gone!

Dryer heat can set stains into fabric, making them much harder or sometimes impossible to remove.

Treat the spot, wash the item and check it before drying. If the stain is still there, treat and wash it again. Air dry it while you investigate, because the dryer is many wonderful things, but forgiving is not one of them. 😅
