Little late the 2026! Celebration.
But have you started your year off on the right foot and making strides to make 2026 the year things change. The year you get that project done. The year you get that clutter doesnt take you out.

With 2025 being kinda rough as it drew to a close on my end. I made sure I didnt let 2026 continue that trend. Working on progress not dwelling on the issues and problems. Even if its little... its in the right direction.

So technically tomorrow is the technical first day of fall. So I guess its a good time to attempt at cleaning out some things that kinda fell to the side of things to do cause we'll life happens and we all get distracted especially with having to clean our own space.

End of summer to do list reset organize your pantry, fridge, kitchen cabinets, closets (yours and or your kids) to help make a easy breezy school year. Set a timer for 30 minutes. Clean and tackle little at a time to not get overwhelmed. You'd be surprised what gets done in 30 minutes.

In the world of.... wasn't expecting that to go down. The attic fan and the toilet both decided they had enough. We ensured electrical was still avaiable for attic fan. Which it was so that was a blessing. And try our best to match the type it was. The toilet got a upgrade to the 2020 model from the 1996 model of American standard toilet. Didn't get a picture of the before cause it was a leaking problem and shut water off and got the stuff asap from homedepot to get it all squared away.lets just say... 1996/1997 bathroom remodel they did a alright job on the connection foe the toilet it had not 1 but 2 wax rings and the bolt holding rhe toilet was gone. Like.. p**f gone nothing there. The main bracket ring you hook too was still good to go shockingly. So it was a 5 hour attic and toilet day with 3 trips to home depot. But! We now have safe bathroom and attic fan for a house that the ac/ furnace hasn't worked since probably 1997. I'll take the attic fan and house fan to help get the heat out.

Is your home ready for the holiday rush soon to come. Back to school, labor day, halloween, veterans day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, new year, valentines day, st Patrick's day... I could go on...
Have you set a 30 minute timer, take one a cabinet, a closet, maybe a room to help battle to clutter or let alone a routine to keep your home ready for the holiday rush. When kids come home from school, maybe a vacation in the works, family coming and visiting, maybe a birthday coming...
With the battle I've taken on going through and sorting out over 17 years of accumulated stuff. It can get overwhelming. Could make ya want to throw in the towel. But your not alone. Even if it's not spoken of, there are people just like you that are dealing with the same load put on them.
Put on your favorite music, podcast, TV show( if you can still focus on your task at hand) set that timer. And tell yourself only way to get over this mountain is to climb it one step at a time.

Completely forgot to take a before picture of this doggy door. I was waiting for the dryer to finish so I broke out some new heavy duty wipes I got from my local home depot. Which.. hey if you wanna challenge a product you find something that has some nice build up. The wipes are crocodile cloth originals. They are bigger than the typical clorox wipes by A LOT! Plus also heavier duty and won't rip so easy. Safe to use on pretty much any surface. I needed something that would safely remove dirt build up and grease off walls, cabinets and I guess doggy doors. They work very well. 1 wipe did this entire doggy door and the area od the door around it. Couldn't get into all the nooks and crannies but! For just wiping it down it looks like a new door.

Picture for progress.
Life kinda gets away from me at times.
There has been more memory issues and struggles with my parents. Causing a little more stress and strain on myself. Still pushing through and getting stuff done. My garden therapy is going well. I have grown 14 pumpkins. Here are 11 of them. Little early for the Halloween/ fall season but this shows that it's a healthy garden growing this well.
Plus I have amazing constant clients that take supplies from the garden and supply me with stuff to help the garden grow strong.
I also have watermelon growing. They are going crazy and cucumbers shooting off like crazy as well I've probably picked and used or given over 40 and it just started producing in May.
The garden did get away from me for a bit as it was just too hot to work in and still catching up from a trip that was 14 days long away.
The struggle of working, figuring out this house situation, garden and this year I get the dreaded smog test on my car for the first time thanks to the California rules. So its been a little financial strain. Had unexpected expenses pile up and cooking at home has been a huge thing to save as much as I can to ensure I'm able to keep bills paid and nothing goes past due.
I'll be trying this month to post here about end of summer cleaning assitance tips. Products used and suggested and also maybe some reels/ videos of some cleans of some overdue cleans here at the house. Trying to boost this page to get a income again off fb content creator. Someday maybe I'll be to the level of Bubbles and Buckets, LLC owner Amber Elise. Just gotta get that content train going and keep it up. Truly an inspiration and a true friend.

Life update!
I didn't realize I haven't posted in a while here. Life kinda got crazy, kinda changed up some. Still cleaning and helping seniors but also working on my own mental health. Started a garden, growing produce of all different types. Giving myself a outlet in the crazy world of medical frustrations of the system of which seniors have to deal with.
Took a trip to scope out living options for parents and also getting a ball rolling on repairs and clearing of the home.
Its been a crazy ride and things aren't slowing down at all but just have to keep an eye on the finish line and keep pushing through.

Storytime!
If you have been following me or maybe I've cleaned your house before and you know why I really started cleaning solo for a living. It started probably heavily 10 years ago that I was helping my parents with medical appointments, attempting to keep their home clean and safe. But it was a definite losing race. Cause I'd clean and it be destroyed within seconds. One parent is more of a hoarder than the other, but one suffered heavy depression and just didn't care anymore to even try to keep it up. Come 2020 it got worse, memory problems became more noticeable. Simple things forgotten. I started renovating the yard, painted, installed new led lights all over the house, replaced and did new vanity and faucets to sinks. Come 2021 I thought hey what if I started a cleaning company to help seniors that need bathrooms and kitchens cleaned and maintained. Which I did start doing that while taking a stab at airbnb resets. I opened Nov. 2021 knocking things out of the park till 2023. April my dad had a minor stroke while I was out and it stated a tail spin of medical issues to begin. Making my mom flip out cause the hospital was horrible communicating and giving information if he was okay and stable. Well 48 hours later she was found unresponsive and pale on the couch while I tried to enjoy my birthday. That's when my overdrive of fiction their home, but still help those that need help and keep a few constant clients to keep me afloat financially. Now 2025 is coming. And this bathroom. Where it started in 2020 of repairs and upgrades. It's now needing a full remodeling shower pan is failing. Toilet is failing. Subfloor is failing. All from rhe neglect and horrible experiences with contractors before and not wanting to get screwed over again. I learned a lot of skills putting decent bandaid on the house. But there are things that I personally can't do. Demo a bathroom. To fully ensure it's safety and secure. Ensuring it'll be solid and that 1 problem is solved and the next task can be hit. For those that read this far, thank you. For those in this situation with a family member, close friend or even neighbor I feel for you. All we can do is be that person that's there to help, be that person to show compassion. Sometimes we are a little tribe.. and sometimes we are a huge colony. Always focus and take things on 1 step at a time.
If your needing help, local to me, message me and I'll gladly give advice or even offer to help when I can. No one should be going at it alone. Soon... this bathroom will look very different. And I'll start feeling more at ease with my progress of a very crowded home, with a check list of things to get done. And eventually that list will be done.

If you have a front load washer.. have you drained and cleaned the catch?
I took it upon myself to clean out the catch @ a clients house. I had the extra time on my hands to do this as a easy maintenance upkeep. I also use the active! Washer cleaner tab. It gets that build up soap scum and who knows what else out of the drumb and flushes it out. If you haven't done this yet and maybe your noticing a smell.. its time to follow the step by step drain and clean port usually in the front corner of the front load washers. I drained after I did the cleaning tab. And that's what I got.

I got sooo side tracked with family situation and medical that I forgot to post the deep cleaner solar light bird bath I finally got around to cleaning its been sitting with no water for a while. Now that it's cooler weather I'm probably late to the game of cleaning for the birds. This one involved a lot more elbow grease and soaking in hot water with the soaked $0000 steel.wool. plus clean up after of sanitizing the sink and counter after.
