European Starlings are often considered pests. They were introduced in North America in 1890. Since then they have spread across virtually the entire continent. They nest in cavities, often out competing bluebirds, woodpeckers and other native songbirds.

They are notorious for nesting in dryer and bathroom exhaust vents. If you hear noises such as tapping, scratching or trilling in walls, attics or between floors you may be hosting them in your home. Give us a call to discuss options to solve the problem.

Never offer food, milk, or water. If you have followed all of the steps and the baby needs help, contact a LICENSED rehabber ASAP. Cat caught wildlife needs antibiotics or it will not survive. Use the app 'Animal Help Now' to find a rehabber nearest you.

If you have found a juvenile squirrel that is approaching you, it needs help. Please contact a licensed wildlife rehabber immediately. Note: It is illegal to rehab wildlife in the state of Georgia without a license.

You don’t want the smoke. 😤

American red squirrels are not one to play with. Don’t let their small size fool you. These little ones are known for nest-raiding AND bird-eating despite their diet consisting of the seeds and cones of evergreen trees. Not to mention, they are highly territorial and asocial.

Unlike many other mammals, squirrels don't hibernate. They remain active throughout the winter, relying on a combination of fat reserves, stored food, and clever adaptations to stay warm and survive.
