I thought today we could take a trip down memory lane, to the time when we had to clean a solid bamboo wood floor by hand, on our knees... all two stories of it.

This type of floor isn't extraordinarily expensive, but it isn't cheap either. About 6 to 10 dollars per square foot, just materials alone. They are usually easy to maintain as well... Unless you have cats that p*e wherever they please.

Due to the cats p*eing anywhere they so desired, the home started having a lingering smell. The client tried to clean as much as she could, but could not get rid of the smell.
She knew it had to be the floors. So she called us. We obviously tried to steam mop every bit of it, but it did not make a difference. The one thing about Bamboo, is that moisture really affects this floor. And the p*e had eaten away at some of the areas. So it seemed there were only two options. The first was having her replace the floor, which was not a good option. The second was cleaning every inch by hand, and so we did.

We were able to rid of the smell, after being very thorough. Our client was very satisfied. It took four of us about 4 hours, but it got done.
