We figured since we have come across several unsleeved lines behind repairs and posted about them, that we should post how sleeving should be done during an install to help the integrity and longevity of the smaller pipes. Also sleeving under driveways.

If you need anything septic related we are happy to take care of you! Give us a call 903-993-4808 📞

Have a blessed week!

🚨 Two crushed lines in ONE WEEK. Both installed without a protective sleeve by another company.

This call came from a customer whose septic sprinklers hadn’t worked in years—and now sewage was backing up into her home. Her late husband had always handled the system, leaving her trying to figure out what had been done and where to start.

When we inspected it, we found a sump pump in the pump chamber that had been used as a workaround. That pump had finally failed, and the actual septic pump was no longer working either.

We replaced the septic pump, but the sprinklers still wouldn’t spray. So we started digging.

Right at the edge of the tank, the unsleeved line was smashed completely FLAT.

After repairing that section, the pump moved water—but it still wasn’t reaching the sprinklers. The water was escaping somewhere underground, so we ran a completely new sprinkler line to get it where it belonged.

I said it in my last post about this and I'll say it again... SLEEVE THE SALLER LINES. 😵‍💫

At MLP Septic Services LLC, we take the time to investigate the problem and follow through on the repair. 💪

Small details during installation can turn into BIG problems for the homeowner. 👀

This video shows a system installed by another company. The smaller airline wasn’t sleeved across the excavated area between the tank and the trench. As the ground settled, it put stress on that line and damaged it, leaving the customer with a repair and expense that could have been prevented.

Sleeving helps protect these smaller lines where settling can put them under stress. It takes minimal extra effort during installation, but that small extra effort matters long after the dirt is covered.

As installers, we need to do better for our customers. They’re trusting us with a major investment, and the work we bury deserves just as much care as the work they can see.

At MLP Septic Services LLC, we believe doing the job right includes paying attention to the details. 💪

If you have any septic needs, give us a call. We do ALL things septic. 903-993-4808 have a blessed day.

We did this install during 108° weather, a full septic replacement, and probably a few moments when we questioned our life choices… 😂🥵

It was brutally hot, dirty, and definitely not the easiest day, but we pushed through and got this replacement installed! We’re tired, sunburned, and pretty sure we sweated off a few pounds, but we’re proud of the finished job and thankful for customers who trust us with their homes.

Just another day of making a living in this Texas heat! ☀️💪
