The lastest septic system install. Why choose us to install a septic system? Several reasons.

We've installed dozens of septic systems in the last several years, and have it down to a science at this point.

We bed the tanks with sand or gravel, making sure they are level. We make sure to use clean, non clay backfill material around the tanks for protection.

We dig the drainfield level, and it always passes county inspection. If we are installing a drainfield in a yard area in addition to raking it out nice and adding grass seed, we put the pipes down in valve boxes so you don't have to look at them sticking up in the yard.

If it's a repair system on an occupied residence we can get the old system decomissioned and the new system hooked up with next to no inconvenience on the use of the plumbing.

We tell you up front all of the costs it will take to complete the system. That way you don't get committed, only to find out that wiring or something else was not figured on in the price, driving the final price up thousands more than you thought.

If quality work and honest pricing is what you're after we can deliver. Contact us today for a free consultation.

Things homesellers or buyers should know about Septic Systems in San Juan County.

1. The septic system is supposed to be inspected before purchasing a home. Septic systems can be expensive to repair. An inspection can find problems before they become major. In addition to point of sale inspections, gravity systems are to be inspected every 3 years, and systems with a pump annually.

2. If the inspection report shows 18 inches or more of total solids in a compartment of the tank it should be pumped.

3. The septic system is required by county code to have "maintenance components" installed at the point of sale. This includes access risers on tanks and distribution boxes, effluent filters, drainfield observation ports, cleanouts on pressure system laterals, and high water alarms on pressure systems.

4. Older systems are grandfathered in at the time of sale, provided they aren't failing, with the exception of seepage pit systems, which are required to be replaced at the time of sale.

If you need help with inspecting a septic system, or getting it repaired or up to code for a sale, contact us today at FosterSepticAndExcavation.com, or call. We can get it taken care of right.
