Gabelein Brother’s Septic LLC is a locally owned and operated septic service provider with a reputation for high-quality work and excellent customer service. We are seeking an experienced and qualified Septic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in septic system maintenance.
Job Description:
As a Septic Technician, you will be responsible for servicing septic systems, including pumping. You will operate a Septic Pumper Truck and perform routine inspections. This role requires a motivated, reliable individual who can handle physical labor and work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a Septic Pumper Truck to pump and service septic tanks.
• Locate and uncover septic tanks for service.
• Lift and move manhole lids up to 100 lbs.
• Complete tasks efficiently and safely, in line with company standards.
Qualifications:
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Prior experience in septic services or related field preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform manual labor.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
• CDL Class B with a tankers endorsement

Around 4:20 this morning, one of our listeners reported hearing barking on the Bush Point hydrophone! You can replay the cool sounds of some CA sea lion barks at the link — https://live.orcasound.net/reports/cand_02wjHKUiXlhcwMgiIi3st0

If you listen carefully, you can also hear surface waves breaking and bubble sounds which are likely caused by the swimming motions of the passing sea lions!

Thanks to Orca Network and Whidbey Telecom for hosting this hydrophone location. Our guess is that these sea lions were swimming north through Admiralty Inlet because this is the time of year when CA sea lions depart to begin their long swim to their southern CA rookeries.
