OCHS summer fun series continues at both Pioneer Village and Stony Hill School as we celebrate Flag Day on Sunday, June 12th.
Both parks will be open with FREE PUBLIC ADMISSION and special programming in honor of Flag Day. Festivities begin at noon. Bring the family!!!
Pioneer Village will feature a vintage car show, along with a Bluegrass Jam. Our kitchen will be open - we've added a beer stand this year as well. (We now accept credit cards for kitchen purchases over $5.) If you have a vintage vehicle - bring it to the show!! Vintage Vehicle admission is a $10 donation to the park and includes a collectible dash plaque. Public will vote on their favorite trucks, cars & motorcycles. We will also have a drawing for a $25 Rock Auto gift card (must be present to win, drawing at 3pm, following the awarding of trophies). Special thank you to Rock Auto for being a sponsor of this year's event.
Stony Hill School will feature Honor Guard Flag Raising at 3:30pm with American Legion Melvin Webster Belgium Post 412. Andrea Havlik will perfom the Star Spangled Banner during the flag raising. Stroll the Avenue of the Flags and participate in a scavenger hunt. Refreshments will be available.
For your convenience, we will once again offer a FREE SHUTTLE between OCPV, Stony Hill and Waubeka Flag Day. Shuttle will run from 1-5pm. We encourage visitors to park at Pioneer Village and take the shuttle so you can enjoy all three activites and only have to park once. Special thank you to MacGillis Insurance for sponsoring this year's shuttle.
