Hornet nest or wasp nest? There's an easy way to tell them apart!
Hornets usually build large, enclosed nests that look like they're made of layers of gray paper. Wasps build smaller, open nests with exposed honeycomb-shaped cells.
Both can become aggressive when their nests are disturbed, so if you find one around your home, it's best to leave it alone and have it checked out.

Garages are one of those places where pest activity can go unnoticed for a while. There's usually plenty of storage, places to hide, and sometimes a gap under the garage door. It's worth checking those corners you haven't looked at in a while.

If there's a gap big enough for a #2 pencil to get through, it's big enough for a mouse! 🐭
As the weather gets cooler, we tend to see more mouse activity in homes. It's a good idea to check around the outside of your house for any gaps or openings they could use to get inside.

As temperatures start cooling down, mice and rats may start looking for warmer places to settle in. 🐭
You'd be surprised how small of an opening they can squeeze through. Gaps around pipes, vents, and the foundation are all spots worth checking.

This bald-faced hornet nest was huge 😳
We’re still seeing plenty of wasp and hornet activity this fall. If you spot a nest like this around your property, give it some space. These are definitely not something you want to mess with yourself.

We start getting more calls about ants indoors once the temperatures cool down. If you’re seeing this many, especially ants carrying eggs, there’s probably an established colony close by.

Seems like the stink bugs and spotted lantern flies are competing for most annoying bugs this fall.
They're both invasive species that can cause harm to the local ecosystem, so squish 'em if you see 'em.

Every fall, we start seeing a lot of the same pest problems around homes. 🐭🕷️🐜🪳

Spiders become more noticeable around garages, porches, and basements. Mice start looking for warm places to shelter. Stink bugs, roaches, ants, and other insects can also work their way inside through small gaps around doors, windows, and siding.

Fall is a good time to keep an eye on those little entry points before they turn into a bigger problem.
