🚨 Clog alert!! 🚨

Water was starting to back up into the home, so we got the clog removed and the water came rushing through. Because of how dark the water was, we believe it had been sitting in the pipe for quite a while.

That’s usually a sign the tight line may be sagging and holding water instead of flowing properly. The clog was a decent size, but not normally big enough to cause this kind of backup on its own.

A small clog + standing water = bigger problems fast.

Step 2️⃣ – Crush the tank
Step 3️⃣ – Add gravel 12 inches below grade
Step 4️⃣ – Call the inspector to confirm grade
Step 5️⃣ – Cover it up! 🤩

Out with the old and ready for what’s next. Another one checked off the list!

Here’s a before & after from today’s septic tank cleaning! Full tank, freshly pumped, and finished off with a riser install for easier access next time around.
Adding a riser means no more digging up the yard every time the tank needs serviced 👏🏼

This is what a properly cleaned septic tank should look like.

At L&L Septic, we don’t just pump liquids and leave we remove everything we can, including the solids at the bottom. That’s the whole reason for cleaning your tank.

We’ve been getting a lot of calls lately where another company already “cleaned” a tank… and it’s still full of solids when we open it up. That’s not a full cleaning.

If you’re paying to have your tank cleaned, make sure you’re getting what you paid for not just a quick pumping.
