Wow, we are BUSY, and we can’t thank all of you enough for that! 🙌
🌳🐛 But it’s education time!
What you’re looking at are webworms. Although they can look pretty scary hanging out in your trees, for most healthy, established trees, they’re usually more of an eyesore than a serious problem.
Now, you might be saying, “Oh Dustin… what do you mean by MOST trees?” 😂
Young, newly planted, or smaller trees can be more vulnerable, and trees already stressed from drought may also have a harder time handling heavy feeding.
Can we treat for them? Absolutely. If you really want them treated, give us a call and we can help. But in many cases, there’s really no need! Mother Nature has her own pest-control crew. 🐦🐝 Birds, wasps, and other natural predators will feed on them and help keep their numbers under control.
So before you panic when you see those big ugly webs—remember, they usually look a whole lot worse than they actually are!
