We are a local, family owned-and-operated, window cleaning business! Business hours are Monday through Thursday 9am to 6pm, and Friday 9am to 3pm.

Cancellation Policy

At Lone Star Glass and Gutter, we understand that schedules can change, and we do our best to accommodate our clients’ needs. As a small business, last-minute cancellations or rescheduling can significantly impact our team and operations. To ensure fairness for both our employees and our clients, we have the following policy in place:

24 Business Hours’ Notice Required – If y

ou need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we request at least 24 business hours’ notice before your scheduled time. Late Rescheduling or Cancellation – If a client reschedules or cancels less than 24 business hours before their appointment, or if the work could otherwise be performed as scheduled, a deposit will be required to hold a new date. The deposit is either $100.00 or 50% of the total service cost, whichever is greater. This deposit is non-refundable, however the deposit will be applied to the total service cost on the day of your appointment. Why This Policy? This policy is not meant as a penalty but rather a way to protect the time and effort of our dedicated team and ensure we can continue providing quality service to all of our clients. Last-minute changes make it difficult for us to fill appointment slots, impacting both our employees and other customers who may be waiting for an opening. We appreciate your understanding. Well, my kids and I apparently got a jump start this past week on back-to-school colds. 🤧 Not exactly what I'd LIKE to get a jump start on, but thankfully we're doing much better now.

Hopefully all of you are staying well, enjoying that last bit of summer before school is back in session, and feeling like all the prep work is coming together as we ready ourselves for another season. I know things are busy though! The beginning of a new school year is fast approaching, and I find myself thinking about a bunch of milestones. Maybe you are too. Babies starting new grades soon - I'll have one starting Pre-K and one starting 7th! 🤯

Maybe your summer includes some different milestones, like visiting a new state or even country, completing a course, buying a new home, or starting a new job.

One incredible milestone we realized recently was that our small, family business has served over 1,000 families. That's so encouraging and humbling to know so many have trusted us with the work of caring for their homes. That's a LOT of windows cleaned, y'all!

And that also means we've been privileged to serve families as they hit their own milestones too. We're definitely thankful for the 'cooler' temps this week🫠 It makes long days outside a little more enjoyable!

Last week we had the opportunity to celebrate the birthday of one of our crewmembers, Izak.

If you've had us out to clean your windows in the last few months, you've seen Izak at work and know that he is a hard, persistent worker that doesn't shirk from sun and sweat. The least I could do was treat him and the whole crew to a steak dinner at LongHorn Steakhouse.

I feel a little like a broken record, but it always comes down to people. Take care of your people, make sure they know they're valued and appreciated, that they have a voice, and the work will take care of itself.
