A stainless steel refrigerator can elevate your kitchen's modern aesthetic, but cleaning it may pose challenges. With these tips, you'll easily tackle streaks, spots, handprints, and more, mastering the art of cleaning a stainless steel fridge in no time.

1. Opt for a soft cleaning cloth to avoid scratching stainless steel surfaces, as they scratch easily. Best choice: Microfiber cloths; they're better for stainless steel surfaces.
2. Clean along the grain to prevent scratches. Detect the grain direction closely and avoid rubbing against it.
3. You can use water for cost-effective cleaning. For tough stains or fingerprints, add dishwashing liquid. Rinse and dry promptly.
4. You have the option of natural products like vinegar or oils, or commercial cleaners. Some prefer specialized products for stainless steel.
5. For best results, use paper towels to dry for a shiny and streak-free finish.

Having a clean bathroom is an important part of having a clean home. While it's a chore you might particularly dread, there are some simple steps you can do for smooth and efficient bathroom cleaning.

You may want to move everything out of the way, spray the toilet down on all sides, use a brush for the hinges, and then wipe it all away. For inside the toilet it's best to use a strong disinfectant to keep the build-up away. If there is a toilet ring, a puma stone is good for getting rid of stains, while baking soda will be a good help on cleaning those grouts.

Cleaning solutions that contain chlorine, ammonia, and alkylphenol ethoxylates (found in some all-purpose cleaners) have been known to have a harsh impact on our nature and environment. Before filling your shopping cart with these products to do some major home cleaning this spring, take a look at these 8 natural alternatives for home cleaning products.

1. Lemon: The humble lemon is bursting with antibacterial and deodorizing properties, so it’s a great cleaning agent. Plus the citrus smell of lemon is refreshing and invigorating.
2. Rubbing Alcohol: Rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol, kills nearly 100 percent of bacteria on surfaces. You can also use ethanol. Alcohol cleaning solutions can be found at your local pharmacy.
3. Borax: Borax can be found in the laundry aisle of most grocery and department stores. It makes a powerful disinfectant and softens water to increase soap suds. Borax is ideal for cleaning walls and wallpaper without the risk of damage. It also removes stuck-on dirt and grime from floors.
4. Baking Soda: Baking soda is an excellent cleaner and deodorizer. It pairs well with vinegar to clean and remove clogs, and with natural soaps to soften water and boost foam cleaning power.
5. White Vinegar: White vinegar or acetic acid cuts through grease and mildew, freshens, lifts certain stains, and clears wax buildups.
