Old Man Winter says not so fast. The winter weather yo-yo continues. Florida will be feeling summer Saturday with some 90s popping. Cold front returns early week. Tuesday AM back to some 20s/30s (maybe). GFS going all in dropping temps. Some wiggle room for sure. But hey. More iguana posts coming regardless. Poors guys. They can't catch a break.

🌿 The South Florida Comeback:
Life After the Freeze ❄️

Don’t give up on that brown hibiscus or the crispy croton just yet! In South Florida, "dead" is often just a temporary state of mind for our tropicals.
If your garden took a hit during the recent cold snap, here is your Post-Freeze Survival Guide:

🍃Patience is a Virtue: Resist the urge to prune immediately! Those dead, brown leaves actually act as insulation for the living tissue underneath if another cold front swings by.

🌿The Scratch Test: Not sure if it's gone for good? Use your fingernail to lightly scratch a stem. If you see bright green underneath, your plant is alive and well—just resting!

💧Water Wisely: Give your plants a steady drink to help rehydrate stressed roots, but don't drown them.

🌿Wait for the New Growth: Once you see those tiny green nubs pushing through, that’s your cue to trim away the frost-damaged bits.

Nature is resilient, and soon enough, your backyard will be back to its jungle-glory self. 🌴✨
