Sunshine Laundries presented $3,943 to Learn to Read of St. Lucie County as part of our Community Washer & Dryer program for the first quarter of 2026. Because our customers used the designated machines, the nonprofit has extra funds to provide educational and tutoring materials, including books, learning resources, and tutor training to better support students and improve educational outcomes. Don't know how to swim? Don't let finances stop you. Get 8 lessons from a Red Cross certified life guard at one of the 3 St. Lucie County pools operated by the Rec Dept. Sunshine pays $55 of the $75, you only pay $20. Tell them you're a Sunshine Laundries' customer when you sign up to get the $55 scholarship. Don't wait too long; 30 scholarships available on a first come first served basis.
