Seeing winged bugs all of a sudden? You’re not alone.

After Sunday night’s massive rain storms, termite swarmers and flying ants are both out and active. The easiest way to tell the difference? Look at the “hips.”

Flying ants have a more pinched, segmented waist. Termite swarmers look more straight-bodied with less of a pinch.
