Really wish we had been able to go through Oregon, as well, but WOW!

Through South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and Washington, there's not a bad view from any direction! So beautiful, unadulterated, wild. Such an amazing drive from one side of the continent to the other. Got to stop and see some beautiful sights as well! PACS Elite out here covering the country!

Follow up from our post a few weeks ago..."What do you look for when hiring a moving company?" Below is a very helpful bit of information from the FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration). This entity is directly tied to the Department of Transportation and are responsible for regulating and providing safety oversight of commercial motor vehicles. Outside of the highlighted few first bullets, these are ALL very insightful and helpful points. We implore you to consider the following!!

In short:

- Obtain the Ready to Move brochure & Your Rights and Responsibilities When you Move.

- Check with the Better Business Bureau about your mover.

- Find out how your mover handles damages and if they have a dispute settlement program or an arbitration company they work with.

- Obtain estimates from (3) different companies to compare cost and services provided!!

- Check to make sure your mover is registered with FMCSA and carry an active USDOT & a NYSDOT number (These are both publicly available information found at https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/protect-your-move/search-mover )

- Confirm they have adequate and up-to-date insurance!

We had originally moved this customer to MA last Memorial Day...and she called upon us again, to help move her, and her boyfriend closer to family in VA 🥹 After a quick stop @ Jack Browns, the boys are back on the road!! Another successful out of state relocation!
