To my amazing clients,

Due to some unexpected medical complications, I will need to take some time away from work. At this time, I’m not sure how long my recovery will be, but my health needs to come first so I can heal properly and return to doing what I love.

This is one of the hardest posts I’ve had to make because I truly love caring for your homes, and I never like letting anyone down. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and grace during this difficult time.

I will reach out to each of my scheduled clients as I learn more about my recovery and when I can safely return to work.

Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I navigate the next few days. I appreciate each and every one of you more than you know, and I look forward to being back as soon as I’m able.

This one was extra special. ❤️

I had the opportunity to come back and do this home again this time as a full vacancy move-out clean. It was a hot Sunday, and there were definitely moments where the sweat was pouring, but seeing these before-and-afters reminds me why I love what I do. Every room tells a story, and there is something so rewarding about taking a home from “lived in” to fresh, clean, and ready for its next chapter. But the best part wasn’t just the results my daughter came with me and got to see firsthand what goes into this business. The long hours, the hard work, the attention to detail, and yes the sweat. 💪🧽 She got to see that behind every sparkling bathroom, shining floor, and fresh-smelling home is a mom who works hard to build something she’s proud of. Days like this remind me that hard work always pays off. The heat may have been exhausting, but the results and making those memories with my girl made every second worth it.

These two they are my WHY. ❤️

To some, I may just be a small business.

But to these two, I’m simply Mom.

They don’t just see someone who cleans houses they see the early mornings, the long days, the sore muscles, the late nights, and the determination to keep going, even when I’m exhausted.

Today was especially special because my daughter came along with me to help clean a vacancy. She got to see firsthand what my days are really like. She saw the hard work, the sweat, and why sometimes I come home completely worn out. But she also got to see something even more important that when you love what you do and you’re willing to work hard for it, it can build a life you’re proud of.

Everything I do is for them.

They are the reason I keep going.
They are the reason I don’t give up.
They are the reason I took the leap to build a business doing something I truly love.
And I hope one day they’ll remember that hard work, kindness, and never giving up can take you farther than you ever imagined.

Being off these past couple of weeks has reminded me just how precious time with them really is, and I’ve loved every minute of it.

With that being said I’m excited to be back in your homes this week! 🏡✨

As I get everyone worked back into the schedule, I ask for just a little grace and patience. I’m doing my best to get all of my amazing clients back on track, and I truly appreciate every one of you who has supported me, checked in on me, and allowed me the time to heal.

Business Update 💛

I had my follow-up appointment today, and while I’m healing well, my doctor has recommended that I take one more week to recover.

Even though my incisions are healing nicely on the outside, there is still healing taking place on the inside. Because my job involves a lot of repetitive bending, reaching, scrubbing, lifting, and twisting, my doctor feels it’s important that I give my body this extra time.

As eager as I am to get back into your homes, I want to return when I can give each and every one of you the quality of service you deserve without risking my recovery.

I truly appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and the kind messages you’ve sent over the past couple of weeks. Your support has meant more than you know.

🖤 A Little Heart-to-Heart 🖤

Running a small business means wearing every hat. I’m the scheduler, the cleaner, the bookkeeper, the customer service representative and at the end of the day, I’m still just a person.

One thing I’ve learned recently is how important mutual respect truly is.

When I had to step away for surgery, it wasn’t a vacation. It was time that my body needed to heal. As much as I missed working and missed seeing my clients, returning before I was ready wouldn’t have been fair to myself or to the people who trust me to clean their homes.

Another thing I ask for is communication. If I message you asking if a date works, please let me know either way. Even a quick “yes,” “no,” or “I’ll get back to you” helps so much. Going forward, if I don’t receive a response, I may need to offer that opening to another client so I can keep my schedule moving. Unfortunately, I can’t continue holding spots indefinitely, especially for my monthly clients.

I pour my heart into this business. I work hard to be reliable, flexible, understanding, and to provide the best service I can every single visit. All I ask in return is the same respect for my time, my schedule, and the fact that I’m human too.

To my clients who have supported me, checked on me during my recovery, been patient, and communicated so well thank you. You are the reason I love what I do, and I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know. 🖤

🖤 It’s officially been one week since my surgery!

First, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has checked in on me, sent kind messages, and been so understanding while I’ve been away. Your support has meant more than you know.

I have my follow-up appointment on Tuesday, and while I am so excited to get back into your homes and back to doing what I love, I’m also committed to making sure I’m fully healed before returning. I feel really good, but I know that just because I feel better on the outside doesn’t mean everything on the inside is completely healed yet and I want to give my body the time it needs.

When I do come back, I want to be able to give each and every one of my clients the very best of me. That’s always been my goal, and I don’t want to rush the process just to end up setting myself back.

A little kindness goes a long way. 🩷

Last week I surprised one of my elderly clients with some Dunkin’ Donuts. When I walked in, her response was, “You make my day just by seeing your sweet face.” 💕

Those words have stayed with me.

People often ask why I do what I do. I could say it’s because I love cleaning houses and I truly do but the truth is, it’s so much more than that.

It’s the friendships, the conversations, the trust, and the relationships built along the way. My clients don’t always realize how much they mean to me, but they truly do.

I’m grateful for every home I get to walk into and every person I get to meet along the way. 🖤
