This was some pink “slime” that one of our customers kids got mixed into the carpets in their room! We see it everyday, and it will never clean out so the trick is to patch it!! So that’s exactly what we did here and it looks like it never happened!!

I thought I had seen mostly just about all you could see when it comes to carpet, but this was a first for me! We have taken care of this rental numerous times over the years and these last renters had some carpet repairs that they did themselves and the owner wanted it to look better. So as I got into my first cut I realized that the carpet was not coming up to easy and upon further inspection I realized that they had used 2 inch finish nails to tack the carpet down. And then I kept going and realized that they used 26 finish nails to hold the carpet in place 😂 there is one thing for certain that the piece of carpet was not going anywhere!!

It was a busy weekend to the least for me, from getting up at 5am saturday morning and getting the boys to their wrestling tournament all day and then leaving from there to do a 5,000 square feet of VCT tile strip and wax all night long! It turned out great to say the least, and want to give a huge shout out to Titan machinery for letting us do the work! These floors haven’t been done in a VERY VERY long time! It was beyond satisfying to see the change!

This patch repair on this style of carpet is always a difficult one given how low of a pile this carpet is. But I have to admit that this patch turned out incredible! After the patch was done I cleaned the carpet in that room and spent some time blending the patch and cleaning the carpet around it and you can’t even tell that anything happened!!

Clean carpet is better carpet! Something beyond satisfying about freshly cleaned carpets!
