It’s super crappy but I have to do it. If I don’t have a key to your house and your husband forgets to leave the key out for me or you don’t call me into the gate or you forgot I was coming and I can’t break in (not for lack of trying) I have to still be paid. I rely on my daily income , every day. I will always do my best to make it up asap, which is my goal. I hate that I have to request payment for work I’m unable to do I wish I didn’t need to. I adore every one of my clients- that’s why I don’t take on every house that wants me lol, I have to like them as well.
If I don’t have a key to your house I really should have one. It’s safer than leaving a hidden key somewhere for someone to find that shouldn’t . This has only happened a few times but when it does it puts me in a bad situation 😞

If you haven’t seen, I’m partnering with my childhood best friend and starting a side business. We are starting a little pop up thrift store. We have no location as of now so will be setting up on weekends we are available having a pop up thrift shop.
For years I have taken your donations to other small thrift stores that help their community. It is our desire to help our community of Foresthill by providing affordable quality items.
If you have items you are donating I am happy to pick them up.

I truly am blessed with some amazing clients. Just got to my 2nd house and she said they’ve only been home 3 days since I last cleaned so it’s not really in need of cleaning so do whatever I think needs done and take my full pay even if I’m here an hour ❤️

With close clients I guess I mention Jodi July often - I share that her house was always a treat to clean because there would be nothing on counters in bathroom or kitchen, and that she bagged up everything in the bathtub/shower. I never had to move anything to clean.
So when my people try to do that is so cool, I didn’t even realize why a long time family / client member suddenly had the bathtubs cleared ❤️
I do not expect Jodi from anyone else lol but I love that people try to make things easier for me. I appreciate you!!

A lot of my clients, I’ve been with for many years. Most of them Jo’ee knows the house by the dogs that live there. I’ve been at this clients home for oh 16,17 years. A few years ago Maddy went to doggy heaven and now they are saying goodbye to Finny. She’s old and can’t walk anymore and isn’t eating. Trying to make it to their appt with her normal vet but doesn’t look like she can wait until next Thursday. Please keep Krista and Ron and their daughter Helena in your thoughts as they say goodbye to Finny. My heart breaks for them :(

Starting today I will be seeing which houses have a good working vacuum cleaner and Bona style mop for my microfiber pads. I will be riding my bike to work when I figure out which houses have what I need to effectively clean.
A few houses I may be asking them to get a vacuum cleaner. If anyone sees good sales on vacuums please let me know so I can forward to a few clients.
