We have 40lb bags of salt available for purchase, in the event of ice accumulation. The salt can be used on steps, porches, and/or driveways. Stop by and see us in our Dillon or Florence locations.

We want to give you a quick heads-up as parts if not all of the P*e Dee area are expected to experience freezing temperatures, snow, and ice over the coming days; conditions that can be especially challenging for outdoor pools in our area that don't normally see winter weather.
A few tips & tricks that can help prevent costly freeze damage:
If you still have power during freezing temperatures
• Keep your pool system running and circulating continuously. Moving water is far less likely to freeze.
• If your pool has a heater and you do not expect power interruptions, consider raising the water temperature to help keep plumbing and equipment warm.
If you experience an extended power outage
• Shut off all pool equipment immediately.
• Drain as much water as possible from the pump, filter, heater, and any exposed plumbing.
• Open drain plugs and air relief valves where applicable.
• If power is not expected to return within about an hour, draining equipment is critical to reduce the risk of freeze damage.
Freezing temperatures and ice storms can cause cracked pipes, damaged pumps, and costly repairs if equipment is not properly managed. Taking a few precautionary steps now can make a big difference.
