One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is that my worth was never determined by who included me or who left me out.

There was a time when it hurt deeply when me or my children weren’t invited, included, or appreciated. I spent too much time wondering why and questioning our value.

But today, I see things differently.

I realize that our worth was never tied to the opinions or actions of other people. We don’t need everyone to love us, accept us, or make room for us. We already know who loves us.

God loves us. Some of our family loves us. Our church family loves us. The people who truly belong in our lives love us.

When you know who you are in Christ, you stop chasing approval from people who were never meant to validate you in the first place.

Today, me and my children are happy. We are loved. We are blessed. We are making memories, growing in faith, and living a life filled with joy.

I no longer look for others to tell us our worth because God already settled that when He created us.

Know your value today. The right people will love you without being asked. The right people will make room for you. And the people who don’t were never in charge of your worth to begin with. ❤️

Tonight as I lay in bed thinking and reflecting, I realized that five years ago around this time, I was walking through one of the hardest seasons of my life.

Just one month earlier, in May 2021, my ex-husband had nearly taken my life. During that terrifying moment, I couldn’t speak. I couldn’t cry out. I couldn’t physically do anything because of what was happening to me.

But there was one thing I could do.

I could think.
I could pray.
I could speak to God through my heart. ❤️

My thoughts weren’t about my house, my car, money, or anything this world had to offer. My mind immediately went to the Lord and to my children. I remember silently crying out, asking God to protect them.

Looking back now, I truly believe the Lord is giving me a deeper understanding of something: He hears the prayers that never leave our lips.

There are moments in life when words fail us. Moments when we are too broken, too hurt, too afraid, or physically unable to speak. But even then, God hears the cries of our hearts.

Five years later, I’m still here by the grace of God.

My children are protected.

And that silent prayer spoken only in my heart reminds me that God was listening all along.

Sometimes the most powerful prayers are the ones no one else can hear. ❤️🙏

My name is Bridget LeeAnn Embry. Some people call me Bridget, and some call me LeeAnn, I answer to both!

I’m a proud single mom of six amazing children, and they are one of my greatest blessings. I am the owner of LeeAnn’s Cleaning, which I started in February 2023. Most importantly, I am a Christian, and Jesus is the center of my life. In August 2026, I will begin my third year of ministry school. I love sharing my faith, encouraging others, and telling what God has done in my life, and I love hearing the testimonies of others as well. ❤️

Life hasn’t always been easy. I’ve overcome domestic violence, heartbreak, and the unimaginable pain of having a child missing for nearly three years. Through every storm, God remained faithful. My testimony is proof that no matter what you’ve been through, God can bring healing, restoration, and hope.

One of the biggest lessons the Lord has been teaching me is the importance of balance.
For a long time, I thought being a good Christian meant focusing on work, taking care of my kids, and making it to church on Sundays and Wednesdays. While those things are important, I’ve learned that God never intended for our lives to consist of only work and responsibilities.
Our children are a gift from God. Work is important too. The Bible teaches us to work diligently and provide for our families. But God also created us for fellowship and relationships.
Scripture tells us not to forsake assembling together. I’ve come to realize that this means more than simply attending church services. It means making time for other believers throughout the week. It means sharing meals, having conversations, encouraging one another, praying together, laughing together, and doing life together.
Jesus spent time with people. The early church spent time with people. They broke bread together and shared life together.
When our entire world revolves around work and our children, and we never make time for fellowship, encouragement, friendship, or community, our priorities can slowly get out of balance.
This was a difficult lesson for me to learn because I love my children and I’ve always been a hard worker. But God has been showing me that healthy relationships and Christian fellowship are also part of His plan for our lives.
There is a time to work.�There is a time to serve our families.�There is a time to be alone with God.�And there is a time to fellowship with others.
Balance is biblical.
I’m thankful the Lord is still teaching me, growing me, and helping me understand what a healthy, balanced Christian life looks like. ❤️🙏

☀️ Good morning, friends! ☀️

Just another ordinary morning, and honestly, those are some of my favorite kind. I got up, let Cleo out, fed the fish, spent some time reading my Bible and praying, and checked out the new decals on my work car. 🚗✨

It’s exciting to see my little business continue to grow. The new decals are helping me level up my advertising and spread the word about LeeAnn’s Cleaning. Be sure to check out the video and let me know what you think!

Now the girls are heading out for the weekend, and I’m getting ready to start my workday. As I sit here enjoying the peaceful sunshine, I’m reminded of how blessed I truly am.

Life doesn’t always have to be filled with big moments to be beautiful. Sometimes it’s found in the quiet mornings, answered prayers, a little sunshine, and a grateful heart.

Thankful for this blessed, peaceful life the Lord has given me. ❤️☀️🙏
