Spring time is coming up! Here are 5 spring cleaning tips for your kitchen:
1. Clean out your pantry and fridge: Start by throwing out any expired items or those that you know you won't use. Then, organize your shelves and drawers so you can easily find what you need. Don't forget to wipe down the surfaces with a clean, damp cloth.
2. Deep clean your oven: It's time to get rid of all that baked-on grime! Mix up a solution of baking soda and water, apply it to the inside of your oven, and let it sit overnight. In the morning, wipe away the paste and rinse with water. Your oven will be sparkling clean!
3. Declutter your countertops: Take a good look at your kitchen countertops and see what you can get rid of. Store away small appliances that you rarely use and put away any items that you don't need on a daily basis. This will give you more space to work and make your kitchen look cleaner and more organized.
4. Clean your small appliances: Give your toaster, coffee maker, and blender a good cleaning. Unplug them, wipe down the exterior, and clean the inside with a damp cloth. This will help remove any buildup of dust or grime and keep them working efficiently.
5. Scrub your sink: Your kitchen sink is one of the dirtiest places in your home. Use a disinfectant cleaner and a scrub brush to clean the basin and faucet. Don't forget to scrub the drain and garbage disposal too. Your sink will be fresh and clean!
