Safe to say we found the problem!

Very failed drain field uncovered during a perc test. This system has been backing up into the house, so it’s definitely time for an upgrade.

Next step: a brand-new septic system to get everything flowing where it’s supposed to again and put an end to a problem this homeowner won’t have to keep dealing with.

Ever seen these green lids in someone’s yard and wondered what they actually are?

They’re septic tank risers, and they bring access to the tank right up to ground level. That makes pumping, inspections, and future service a whole lot easier without having to dig down to the tank lids every time.

It might not seem like much, but it makes maintaining your septic system a whole lot easier down the road. 💩

That right there is a septic tank baffle. 👇

Most homeowners probably have no idea this is even inside their tank, but it plays a pretty important role in protecting your septic field.

The job is pretty simple:
💩 Keep solids inside the tank
💧 Let the liquid flow out to the septic field

We see cracked, deteriorated, and completely missing baffles pretty often. When they aren’t doing their job, solids can start making their way out to the field, and that’s when a small issue can turn into a pretty expensive one.

This is exactly why inspections matter!

Small part. Pretty important job. 💩
