Your washer has a filter too 🤢

Front-loaders hide it behind the little door at the bottom corner. Put a towel and a shallow pan down, twist the filter out (some water will come out), then rinse it and scrub it with an old toothbrush. Do it every 3 months.

✅ Warm water + a little dish soap on a microfiber cloth
✅ Old toothbrush into every fold
✅ Dry it completely - moisture = mold

✅ Turn the fan OFF (switch or breaker)
✅ Pull the cover down - squeeze the wire clips
✅ Soak the cover in warm soapy water
✅ Vacuum the fan + housing with a brush attachment, dry the cover, snap it back

Do this every 6 months - a dusty fan pulls less moisture, and that means more mold.
