When I started building GF proportioner after 50 or so Pentair builds-

I can say GF is ALOT higher quality.

Not as flimsy & definitely last ALOT longer.

I took it apart and studied it for a little bit, the only issues I found would be the O ring inside of the valve where the ni**le threads in if you spring a leak don’t panic, just check your Oring & replace.

Another thing- the k***s easily fall off- if you hit a big bump or have multiple machines running they COULD fall off.

Other than that the GF valves are a great valve, considering the price ($585)

If you’re just starting out & wanting to get your foot in the door the pentairs are still a perfect option ($260)

I started with pentairs & they are still performing as they should, no issues. With that being said, stick to the Pentair unless you have the $ or plan on staying in the game for the long run, in that case upgrade.

The reason I don’t PRE build these is because I like to get a perfect understanding of what you may want.

Proportioner mounted outside for easy access.
Don’t want the battery charger ? Already have one? Perfect, let me know & I’ll take that off the price along with install labor time.
