Somewhere on Long Island's North Shore, a very unique and innovative swimming pool has taken shape. Made of organic materials imported from Italy, the Naturi handcrafted sand pool is transforming back yards into serene, natural places of quiet refuge.

We'll be showing more of this pool in the coming days.

Over 50 years of pools.
We're proud of every one of them.
But there are some that hold a special place in our hearts.
There are more than 10, so we'll back at some point to share those too.
Follow for more.

Next summer, everybody eats outside.

Sunday dinners, birthdays, the Fourth — they all end up in the backyard anyway. A barbecue island gives them somewhere to land: grill, side burner, sink, beverage fridge, weatherproof storage, and a run of counter long enough that nobody has to go inside for anything.

This is the season to plan one. Design through the fall, build over the off-season, and it's waiting for you before the first warm weekend.

Swipe through: a poolside straight run, an L-shape with a sink, and the stonework up close.

The shortest distance between the kitchen and the pool.

A serving window turns a cabana into a bar. Stone counter, stools on the deck, drinks passed straight through — and nobody tracking water through the house all summer. We build outdoor bars and barbecue islands as part of the whole environment, not as an afterthought.

Ceiling fan on. Fire on. Game on.

Wood ceilings, overhead heaters, a linear fireplace and a TV that doesn't care what month it is. Our pavilions turn three months of backyard into nine — custom rooflines, open-air framing, lighting and fans wired in, all designed around how you actually use the yard.

Today we honor those lost and the heroism that followed.
We will never forget.

Open the doors. The party moves itself.

Stone walls, folding glass, and a lounge that opens straight onto the bluestone. We build poolside cabanas and pool houses the same way we build the pool — full baths, changing rooms, kitchens, TVs, whatever the yard asks for. Designed to complement the house, built to local code, built to be used.
