Cass County Electric Cooperative (CCEC) is located in the heart of the Red River Valley and Cass County. CCEC doesn’t have shareholders or customers: We have members, and we’re not only committed to providing them with reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy, but we’re also passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our more than 55,000 members. As a local business staffed by your fri

ends and neighbors, CCEC is finding new ways to make a difference – beyond delivering electricity. Although we’re local and independent, we’re also part of something bigger: local cooperatives work together to develop new technologies and infrastructure across the country. We’re a driving force in helping attract and grow business and industry to our area, and we are active in our EDCs, various Chamber of Commerce and have a business accounts program to help our small and large business members succeed. We’re always looking for new ways to help our members save energy, save money, and take advantage of the more efficient technology that’s changed the way we live. We’re also a great place to work. We’re uniquely positioned to be a force for good in our community. We invest in our employees through ongoing education and training, so we can better serve our members in the places they live, work, and learn. That’s just one of the seven cooperative principles CCEC and all cooperatives follow. To learn about us, visit CassCountyElectric.com.

The decisions made by elected leaders can affect many aspects of our communities, including schools, infrastructure, economic development, public services and even energy policy that influences the cost of electricity.

Your vote is an opportunity to help shape the future of the communities where we live and work.

Safety is at the core of everything we do. ⚠️💪

As part of our ongoing commitment to safety and preparedness, CCEC lineworkers recently completed Pole Top Rescue Training — practicing the skills and procedures needed to respond quickly and safely in emergency situations.

Training like this helps ensure our crews are prepared to protect themselves, their teammates, and the communities we serve every day.

⚡ Modern homes. Hidden energy costs.

Extra fridges, always-on TVs, and “set-it-and-forget-it” features like heated floors can quietly add up on your energy bill—even when you’re not thinking about them.

It’s not just how much energy you use, but what’s running in the background.

💡 Less than $1 a month. Real impact all year long.

Through Operation Round Up, Cass County Electric Cooperative members are helping members—supporting local needs in education, emergencies, and community programs across our service area.

In March alone, 17 organizations received over $64,000 in funding, continuing a long history of community support that has now surpassed $4.7 million in total contributions since 1993.

Featured this month: The Educators' Lab Joy Project, helping teachers reconnect with their purpose through hands-on professional development that strengthens both classrooms and student success.

Small change. Big community impact.

At CCEC, we believe strong communities start with investing in future generations. 🏫

This spring, more than 4,500 third and fourth-grade students from across North Dakota and Minnesota visited Bonanzaville - USA through hands-on educational field trips sponsored by Cass County Electric Cooperative.

These experiences give students the opportunity to explore local history, learn from dedicated volunteers, and create memories that many families in our communities still cherish today.

We’re proud to help support opportunities that connect students to the past while inspiring future generations. 💛
