We’re currently looking for 2 full-time employees who want to become part of our team.

Our normal availability is Monday–Friday,
8:30 AM–5:30 PM.
We’ve restructured our commercial cleaning, so evening and weekend work is optional.

Full-time employees can earn approximately $600–$1,000 per week, plus tips.

We also offer flexible scheduling because we’re a company made up of real people with real lives. Things happen. Kids get sick. Appointments come up. Life doesn’t always fit perfectly into a work schedule.
Daycare options are also available for children, (subject to availability/change)

We don’t expect you to come to us knowing everything.
We need you to have:
⭐️ Reliable transportation & auto insurance.
⭐️ A willingness to learn.
⭐️ A positive attitude.
⭐️ Willing to accept your days can change at any moment.
⭐️ The ability to show up for your team.

We’ll teach you our systems.

We’ll teach you our cleaning standards.

We’ll give you the opportunity.

Then it’s up to you what you do with it.

Cleaning is hard work, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise. But there’s something pretty great about walking into a home, working your butt off, and walking out knowing you just gave someone their time back.

From a House Cleaner’s Eyes… and Sealed Lips

We see far more than dust.

We notice the wedding ring sitting on the dresser… when it used to never leave your finger.

We hear the arguments through thin walls, and pretend we didn’t.

We see the single parent trying to hold it all together while unpaid bills cover the coffee table.

We see the mountain of laundry that somehow never gets any smaller.

Today was one for the books at A&B.

A day in the life of Danielle

Im minding my business, helping clients, building a website, helping J&J roofing with their site, and dying at my desk without AC in the office.

So… last night, our client checked into their rental and everything that could go wrong… did. The dishwasher was leaking & we forgot a load of towels in the dryer 🤦‍♀️ A window was broken. It looked like someone had gotten into the unit between tenants. Even the outdoor light bulb was somehow missing, and you need a ladder just to reach it. Despite it all, they stayed.

Fast forward to today… the AC goes out.
I dispatch one of our handyman’s, Sean. He fixes everything he can.
I call Budget Plumbing, we need a new dishwasher.
I call FM Heating and Air, we need a new AC.

Meanwhile, our crew is working trying to get the new units ready for launch next week. Supplies haven’t all arrived in a timely manner, stress levels are through the roof, and panic starts setting in. This family came all the way from New Jersey for a wrestling tournament, and now they can’t find another place with a kitchen. With a kid and a long stay, they needed one.

I called a girlfriend of mine who has some units, she’s booked. I got online, all I see is booked. I go on Air BnB, nothing.
My goodness what are we going to do.

So… we pivot.
I said I can help but it won’t be perfect.

I rushed to the store, grabbed everything I could think of, spent about $1,600 on TVs and another $800 on supplies, and we moved them into one of our brand new units. It doesn’t even have internet installed yet, but it has air conditioning, a full kitchen, and everything they need.

I handed over my only key fob, gave the sweetest lady my personal cell phone number, and told her if they needed anything, I’d be there.

The look of relief on that mama’s face…

That made every ounce of stress, anxiety, and near breakdown disappear.

The TVs aren’t mounted yet, and you know what? They didn’t care. They were cool, comfortable, and genuinely grateful for a place that worked for their family.

Dinner for me? Cold leftover pasta salad.

Some days remind you that this business isn’t just about properties or cleaning. It’s about people. Plans fall apart, problems pile up, and you figure it out anyway because someone is counting on you.

I pulled into my driveway at 8:41pm, and I’m 90% sure the rest of our supply order finally arrived.

Do I have the energy to go check?

Absolutely not.

Tomorrow is another day.

Meet Chloe & Peanut! AKA my 4 legged nieces🩷🐾

These two sweet girls came to visit with my human nieces, and I just had to share!

Meet Chloe (13), the adorable little senior who still melts hearts everywhere she goes, and Peanut (6), who is deaf but knows sign language and is one of the happiest, smartest pups you’ll ever meet. 🐶

Can we all agree they’re absolutely the cutest?!

At Above & Beyond, we truly love our furry family members just as much as the humans. Pets are always part of the family, and we love getting to meet them during our visits.

Yesterday was one of my favorite days as a business owner.

Running a business isn’t always easy, but moments like yesterday remind me exactly why I do it.

And yes I cried, Kayla cried, and a few others cried, so beautiful because she deserved this!
