A prolonged stretch of bitter cold is forecasted for NE OK and surrounding areas, with temperatures expected to stay below freezing for several days.

Cold like this can be tough on homes, water meters, and plumbing—now is the time to prepare.

Steps to Help Prevent Frozen Pipes:

• 🚰 Let faucets drip slowly, especially in homes with plumbing on exterior walls
• 🚪 Open cabinet doors under kitchen and bathroom sinks to help warm air circulate
• 🧊 Insulate exposed pipes, outdoor spigots, water meters, and crawl spaces
• 🔥 Keep your thermostat set to a consistent temperature—day and night
• 🏠 Check for drafts around doors, windows, and where pipes enter your home
• ❄️ If you leave town, do not turn the heat off—set it no lower than 55°

A little preparation now can help prevent frozen or burst pipes, water outages, and costly repairs later.

We have a couple of positions open for equipment operators, water operators and helpers. Crafton Pump Service maintains 5 Rural Water Districts along with the Town of Fairland's water, sewer and gas. We install and maintain personal and commercial wells along with installing irrigation, septic systems and backhoe work. Please come in to the office at 19055 S Hwy 125 Fairland, Ok 74343 to fill out an application and setup an interview.

RWD #4 had a glitch in the computer and charged everyone an extra $20.00. Will be adjusting the bills to reflect the correct amount.
