Hiring: Carpet Cleaning Technician

XL Carpet Care is hiring a full-time Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our family-owned business (operating since 1988).

We’re looking for someone reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in customers’ homes. No experience required — we provide paid training.

Pay & Benefits
$22.50/hour starting pay
Guaranteed 35–40 hrs/week
$750 bonus after 90 days
Guaranteed raise after 1 year
Weekly pay
Paid training
Company uniform provided
Stable, local work (not seasonal or franchise-based)

Schedule
Full-time (~40 hrs/week, 35 hrs guaranteed)
Start time: 8:30 AM daily
Based out of Evergreen, CO
Start date: August 1

What You’ll Do
Carpet, upholstery, and tile cleaning
Use and move professional cleaning equipment (up to ~50 lbs)
Work in residential homes and small businesses
Provide friendly customer service

Requirements
19+ years old
Valid driver’s license + clean driving record
Reliable transportation to Evergreen
Able to pass background check
Comfortable around dogs
Basic math skills
Comfortable talking with customers
Physically able to do hands-on work

1. Vacuum more than you think you need to.
Most people vacuum once a week. Carpet pros recommend twice a week in high-traffic areas — and if you have pets or kids, make it every other day. Dirt is abrasive. Every step grinds it deeper into the fiber. The vacuum is your first line of defense. Use it.

2. Stop using store-bought spot cleaners.

We got a call on a Tuesday morning. The voice on the other end was... let's say, spirited.

"The house closes on Friday. We just pulled up the area rug. I don't know what happened under there but it looks like the dog lived his entire emotional life on that carpet and we cannot sell this house like this PLEASE HELP."

We've heard this call before. We'll hear it again.
