Floods can destroy a vehicle fast — but the biggest mistake most people make is trying to start the engine. Here’s what you need to know:

DO:
• Disconnect the battery right away
• Document the damage with photos for insurance
• Remove standing water and air out the interior
• Call your detailer, mechanic, insurance company and start the claims process.

Don't:
• Start the car (you could ruin the engine)
• Walk through deep floodwater — it’s dangerous
• Ignore electrical risks (short circuits are no joke)
• Assume “minor” flooding won’t cause long‑term damage

Back in December 1975, my great grandfather had a farm in Snohomish where he was known for growing is not all, most, of the raspberries at the time. He also had cattle, chickens, and horses. There was so much rainfall and melted snow, it caused a major flood in the Snohomish Valley. A lot of farmlands were destroyed, my great grandfathers being one of them. He lost everything he work so hard for.
After learning about this, personally, I wanted to help those that may encounter similar situations by offering the knowledge and information we have learned from my family's history.

This raptor got our PNW protection package. That’s a full front of Stek Dynoshield, Ceramic Coating and we also added the lower rocker panels in PPF to protect this truck from all the on and off road hazards.
