During a recent inspection, we found a soft baseboard and decided to take a closer look.
After removing an outlet extension, mud was visible inside the openings, which is a common sign of subterranean termite activity. These termites build mud tubes to stay protected while feeding inside wall voids.
Once treatment was applied, termites surfaced from another area, including a soldier termite defending the colony.
Activity like this often goes unnoticed until damage becomes visible. Inspections help catch it early.
Termite season is here. If itโs been a while since your last inspection, now is the time to schedule one.
