Enjoying a pour of some amazing bourbon, to celebrate the fact that 3 years ago, I closed Detail Driven, and went to work for Alex Haugland and Amanda full time at the collection. The time has flown by! I feel so fortunate to work for people I consider my friends. Add to that the amazing cars I get to take care of, and the people I have built friendships with in the car community, it really is a dream job! Can’t really picture myself doing anything else. Here’s to many more years. Cheers!

Finally got behind the wheel of this stunning 1957 Aston Martin DB 2/4 mk3 last week. It was awesome! It drives better than you would expect something from the 1950s to. It is so elegant, and makes great engine noise. I truly felt special, driving this car. Such a pleasure to help take care of these amazing vehicles!

The crew here at Everyday to Exotic know I’ve been lusting over the Vyper for years, but couldn’t really justify the large price tag that comes with them. They all conspired to all pitch in and buy me one for my birthday.
This thing is awesome! I have worn out more stools than I can count in my career, and this thing is nothing like any I’ve ever had. Looking forward to many many years of service out of this one. So far, it definitely lives up to the hype.
I am surrounded by some amazing people at work! Thank you Alex, Amy, Jeff, and Joel! 🚘

A few shots from the Vintage Underground 16 wonderful classic cars. 5 support vehicles. And amazing bunch of participants and crew. 5 days, and about a thousand miles. Miles of smiles. Spent time with some old friends, and made a bunch of new ones. I was the designated stunt driver for the camera and video vehicle. It was an amazing week! Now for some much needed down time with my family. Can’t wait for next years tour, the lap of the sound.

If anyone is interested in a close up and kind of behind the scenes look at what I do , dropped a video yesterday that shows what was done to bring a 1957 Aston Martin 2/4 mkIII back to beautiful, after being driven in the a couple of years ago. It had paint defects to be fixed, as well as having a radiator boil over, and a pretty substantial oil leak on the tour. This is a glimpse into my work at the collection.

Finished up this new addition to recently. A 1973 BMW Bavaria. But this is no normal Bavaria……..
It’s a bit of a resto-mod sleeper.
Underneath the hood, is a 3.5 liter inline six and manual transmission, likely from a later 635csi or early m5. Aftermarket suspension and exhaust, and behind all four alpina wheels. This thing is awesome!
The painter left some under buff, and scratches and marring from reassembly, so it got a multi step paint correction and .usa pure evo coating was applied to all exterior surfaces.
Also detailed the interior and engine bay.

From an iconic French rally icon (alpine a110), to a quirky, French economy runabout. This is 1996 Renault Twingo. It received a full interior detail and steam cleaned the engine bay. Then a multi step paint correction, and a high quality wax for the single stage yellow paint. This little thing now looks right at home, with the rest of the .

Another recently completed project. The 1970 Renault Alpine A110. Full interior detail, which required removing the seats, to access the rear area. Detailed the front storage compartment, steam cleaned the engine bay and polished some of the shiny bits. Then a multi step paint correction, topped with .usa ceramic coating on all paint and glass. This rally legend from looks amazing now!
