I wanted to take a moment to give a shout out to this guy, Robert Lamb! He joined Junk Munkiez LLC back in May 2021.

He has been a stable backbone I've very much relied on since hiring him.

Shortly after he joined I lost 2 employees and it was down to just him and I. He's stuck with me through thick and thin times.

We all need help at some point.

An elderly couple reached out to us needing our help. They both came down with health issues a few years ago and their pile of junk became overwhelming to deal with themselves. Many items were heavy engine parts, small pieces of trash that needed to be bagged, and the pile had been sitting outside long enough that blackberry thorns began growing through some parts of it making it feel like you were playing tug of war with an octopus.

It took yesterday and today to complete. We hauled out almost 3 loads for a total of 4,360 pounds(2,780 lbs of trash and 1,580 lbs of metal).

Keeping our promise to our customers.

On the 6th of July our truck decided to not start after completing our job at a customer's property. To ensure we wouldn't have to reschedule our customer's on the following days we rented a UHaul truck until our truck was fixed.

Bad news folks. Our main truck needs major repairs and I'm thinking it's not worth the money considering what I purchased it for. I'm sure it'll have more issues down the road as well. It's served us well for 3 or 4 years but I think it's time to either sell it for cheap or scrap it.

You'll be seeing us in our white C4500 until we figure something out.

T-Mobile in Cottage Grove couldn't get their dumpster emptied due to individuals illegally throwing trash in it. The waste management service wouldn't take it until it was cleared. Junk Munkiez came to their rescue!
