Lilac fires in Bonsall California
We are safe. And staying at my brother’s place.
1:30am fires started (10 miles away)
2:30am warnings
4:00am we left with our valuables
Santa Ana winds are so unpredictable. And our home is on a canyon’s edge so it was best to just leave.
We smelled the fires 2pm and by the time we left (4am) there was a lot of smoke. We heard the coyotes howling and birds fleeing away.
Our neighbors driving away with their horse trailers and pets.
We passed 50 fire engines and 200 firemen. All in the defense position. Let’s pray for them.
We’ll be displace for a few days. Let’s hope my home and stuff will still be there.
