For Rent: 📢

08/08/2026

Hey Entiat,
This may be met with some controversy, but I’ve worked hard to keep the laundromat safe, well-lit, and clean for our community. I have zero tolerance for behavior that harms the business or makes customers uncomfortable. When people block the door, scare others away, strip naked inside the facility, or damage property, it costs the business real money and drives customers off.
For these reasons, this person has been issued a No Trespass order and is not allowed on the property.
Please be aware: she does not listen to authority.

Entiat Laundry – Update
All dryer vents are back in place and every machine is up and running again!
Took a little extra work, but we’re fully operational.

Still keeping an eye out for the person who took the purse from the gal’s car parked next door — please stay alert and let us know if you see anything unusual.

We also still have the space available to rent (the unit between the laundromat and the liquor store). Call if you’re interested!

Happy summer, everyone!

🚨 Theft next to Entiat Laundry Company – Need Help Identifying Suspect 🚨
Around 225pm this afternoon a man wearing red baseball cap. Black tshirt no sleeves, shorts with his bike was caught on camera stealing a backpack/purse from a maroon car in the parking lot next door to Entiat Laundry.
He brought it into the laundromat, went through it, removed cash, then ditched the bag in the garbage can by the maintenance store. After that, he walked with his bike to the Food Mart. Parked his bike by the pop coolers to shop. He came out, and took off on his bike heading toward Chelan.
Attached is clear picture of suspect and bike of the suspect.

If you recognize this individual, please contact Chelan County Sheriff’s Office (non-emergency) or message us here with any information. Help us keep our community safe and hold people accountable.

Thank you for sharing and watching out for each other!

We love having families at our laundromat, and we completely understand that parenting is a full-time job that never stops. We’ve each raised three children ourselves, so we know how challenging it can be.
That said, our laundromat is not a playground. We cannot and will not parent your children while you’re trying to get your laundry done. For everyone’s safety and to protect our equipment and property:
• No running around inside
• No jumping or running on benches and tables
• No hiding behind machines
• No throwing rocks (or anything else) at the glass doors or windows
If these rules aren’t followed, you will be asked to leave and may not be welcome back.
There’s a wonderful park right across the street that’s perfect for kids to play and burn off energy. You’re also welcome to use the parking lot for trucks, blowing bubbles, or other outdoor play. Being mindful of people’s cars and traffic. Bring coloring books, crayons, or other quiet activities to set your little ones up for success while you handle laundry. A boring laundromat isn’t entertaining for anyone—especially not kids.
We know teaching respect for other people’s property and assets starts young (ages 2, 3, and 4—not 16). A broken window or damaged machine costs a lot of money to repair, and like all of you, we’re not working for free. We are working hard to keep this business open and serving our community.
Thank you for understanding and helping us maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming space for everyone. We appreciate our good customers and look forward to seeing you!

🚨 Important Update from Entiat Laundry – 5 Dryers Currently Out of Service 🚨

I am disappointed/ bummed to share that five of our dryers are down right now. I work hard to keep this facility clean, safe and working well and over the last few days
customers chose to take matters into their own hands instead of simply letting us know when a dryer wasn’t working properly. Rather than calling the office or reporting “dryer not turning on” or “dryer not working,” they forced dryer vents to close into the openings. This has caused significant damage to the vents, locks and systems that we need to repair before further use.

We will be reviewing the camera footage.
This kind of misuse doesn’t just create inconvenience — it creates real extra costs for repairs and downtime that affect everyone. We understand things can be frustrating when a machine isn’t cooperating, but damaging equipment only hurts all of our customers, including those who had nothing to do with it and requires more action.
To the many respectful customers who use our facility properly: We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We will be working to get these dryers repaired and back online as quickly as possible.

A reminder to everyone:
If a machine isn’t working correctly, please let us know right away. We’re here to help and would much rather address issues promptly than deal with expensive damage.
Phone number is on the signs. The maintenance door. Easy to see.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping keep our laundromat running smoothly for the whole community.

🧺 A Big Thank You to Our Wonderful Customers!
We just wanted to say how much we appreciate everyone who takes such good care of the laundromat. Whether you’re sweeping up, wiping down machines, or picking up after yourself (and sometimes others too) — we see you, and it truly makes a difference!
Thank you for helping keep Entiat Laundry clean and welcoming for everyone.

With gratitude,
Your Entiat Laundry Team

📢

Please take a moment to read the signs at our unattended laundromat. We are a small, rural business and do not have 24/7 manned phone lines. We do our best to respond to messages within 24 hours.
If you need a response, please leave a clear voicemail. Simply hanging up or not leaving a message tells us it’s not important, and we won’t be calling back.
We always try to do the right thing when something is our fault and will issue refunds where appropriate. However, our signs clearly state “Use at your own risk” for these reasons:
• We do not keep cash on site at the laundromat
• Our machines are new and I maintain them on a regular cleaning and service schedule
Filling washers too full and tripping the breaker is a customer issue, not ours. Please respect the machine capacity.
A gentle note, especially to the men in our community: Entiat is a small rural town. Approaching a woman while upset and making demands can feel threatening. I’m always happy to discuss issues calmly, but I will not respond well to aggressive behavior. The “right thing” is not giving in to bullying. Please be respectful and give us time to look into any problems.
We truly want our customers to have a good experience and will work with you — just please give us a chance to figure out what happened.
Thank you for your understanding!

🧺 Friendly Reminder from Entiat Laundry 🧺
Hey neighbors! We love having you here and want everyone to enjoy a clean, comfortable space. Just a couple of quick reminders:
• The Entiat Laundry is not a dumping ground for items you no longer want. This includes board games, magazines, clothes, blankets, vacuums, and anything else you’re trying to get rid of. Please take your unwanted items home or to the proper donation/recycling spot. Thank you!
• Our signs are the rules for everyone — yes, including you! No animals are allowed unless they are certified service animals. This isn’t a suggestion — it’s a rule to keep the laundromat clean and safe for all our customers.
If you’re unsure whether your pet qualifies, feel free to call us and ask. We’re happy to clarify. One set of rules for everyone helps keep this place great for the whole community.
Thanks for helping us keep Entiat Laundry welcoming and respectful for all
