We love having families at our laundromat, and we completely understand that parenting is a full-time job that never stops. We’ve each raised three children ourselves, so we know how challenging it can be.
That said, our laundromat is not a playground. We cannot and will not parent your children while you’re trying to get your laundry done. For everyone’s safety and to protect our equipment and property:
• No running around inside
• No jumping or running on benches and tables
• No hiding behind machines
• No throwing rocks (or anything else) at the glass doors or windows
If these rules aren’t followed, you will be asked to leave and may not be welcome back.
There’s a wonderful park right across the street that’s perfect for kids to play and burn off energy. You’re also welcome to use the parking lot for trucks, blowing bubbles, or other outdoor play. Being mindful of people’s cars and traffic. Bring coloring books, crayons, or other quiet activities to set your little ones up for success while you handle laundry. A boring laundromat isn’t entertaining for anyone—especially not kids.
We know teaching respect for other people’s property and assets starts young (ages 2, 3, and 4—not 16). A broken window or damaged machine costs a lot of money to repair, and like all of you, we’re not working for free. We are working hard to keep this business open and serving our community.
