Thank you ALL for well wishes, good vibes, and prayers up! Means the world to me!! Surgery went great! Crutches and I are BFFs now. Dr. Slack (angel on earth) says I'll be putting my best foot forward soon, and I can't wait to get my garden growing and spare room sparkling for the kid's visit. Church might be a stretch, still hopeful- but if not -I'll be praising Jesus from the comfort of my recliner, amen!

What's your go to stuffing ingredients? I'd love to know! In our home, we prefer toasted cubes of various types of bread, butter, celery, onions, leeks, mushrooms, sage and chicken or turkey stock. We also prepare it with or without ground country sausage. Our not so secret family recipe ingredient is LOVE! Just makes everything taste so much better, no matter what it is. Happy cooking!

Putting valance/trim moulding over our kitchen cabinets today (finally!!! YAY!). I know we won't see it, but I hate knowing this greasy grime was lurking in the shadows above. Mr.Clean, a magic eraser, and some paper towels makes easy work of removing the mess! To finish it all off I use a 91% rubbing alcohol, mix in a
Spray bottle: 3 parts (70%) alcohol to 1 part (30%) water, and a small sq**rt of Dawn dish soap, it disinfects surfaces and takes up any residue left behind from degreasers and other all purpose cleaners. It feels good knowing this gunk is gone.
